On May Day, celebrated as International Workers Day or Labor Day around the world, activists are on the ground fighting for corporate accountability, jobs and the environment. In the D.C. Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals, a coalition of activists from the Sane Energy Project are supporting farmers including Asha Canalos, in Minisink, NY in a challenge to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and to the Millennium Pipeline Co., which has a fracking operation in their town, We also hear from demonstrators in Charlotte, N.C., at the shareholders meeting for Duke Energy and at Bank of America.
