During an historic evening in Congress, on May 13th 2021, members of the House of Representatives delivered a full hour of speeches in support of rights of the Palestinian people. The impassioned remarks, including by the only Palestinian member of Congress, Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, were the first such efforts in Congress, which approves annually nearly $4 billion dollars for the apartheid state of Israel, and where there is growing pressure to have that aid be conditioned due to Isreal’s war crimes and crimes against humanity.
