As the legislative calendar for Congress comes to a close, people are marching in DC to get the attention of lawmakers and the White House to pass the Build Back Better Act to meet the human needs of Americans families, fight climate catastrophe and keep fading promises made by Democrats to win the White House, House and Senate. We’ll hear voices on the rights of the undocumented and a call for Congress to keep a path to citizenship on its agenda. But first we go to the White House, where on Dec. 5th, there was the third of three mass “Hands Off Ethiopia” demonstrations by the Washington, DC-area Ethiopian community, the largest population of Ethiopians outside of their native country. They are protesting U.S. support of the terrorist organization the TPLF, the Tigrayan Peoples Liberation Front, which is waging war against the democratically elected government of Abiy Ahmed and is terrorizing the country.
