And, as the oligarchy in Peru has succeeded in their year-long effort to oust leftist president Pedro Castillo, we go our archives to hear voices of Castillo supporters rallying here, outside the Organization of American States during the summer of 2021. The rally was just days after Castillo’s win over Keiko Fujimori, daughter of longtime Peruvian dictator. From day one, Castillo’s supporters had to defend him against fascist attempts to overturn his win.
